About Visual Creations

Mary and Barry Finver are both graduates of the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT)—Mary in Interior Design and Barry in Photography. After graduation, Mary started her own company, Design One, specializing in commercial interiors, and Barry joined the firm heading up the Wallpapering, Painting and Contracting department. After attending a NEOCON commercial Interior design show in Chicago, the pair started a second business manufacturing window treatments to the trade. This was the beginning of their relationship with Hunter Douglas. Mary has taught Interior Design classes at both RIT and Southwest Florida College, and Barry was the president of the Southwest Florida Woodturners for several years. He has since returned his focus to photography as an art form—manipulating the camera to produce a style called “painting with light”. The end result is a one-of-a-kind art form. He also does traditional style nature photography. In their personal time, Mary and Barry enjoy traveling, gardening, and enjoying the southwest Florida weather!
